I agree with you so much on this, I laughed out loud. I used to spend HOURS making juicy transitions and mastering magic move in Keynote. All of that seems crazy now.

I personally moved on to Pitch, which is proving to be quite well made, with designer-y alignment and snapping tools. My only concern with it is the fact that it doesn't output any editable formats.
